Agendas
The agenda for most meetings includes:
- 10:00-10:30 Coffee and conversation.
- 10:30-12:30 Education program beginning promptly at 10:30.
(All of these programs apply toward the N. C. Dispute Resolution Commission's Mediator Continuing Education requirement. Many of them meet ACR Advanced Practitioner or other professional continuing education requirements as well.)
- 12:30-1:00 Brown bag lunch (bring your own) and
informal peer case consultation
- 1:00-1:30 p.m. Peer Consultation
- 1:30-2:00 Membership business meeting
Membership meeting agenda items should be submitted to the NCAPFM president or secretary
at least two weeks prior to that meeting's date.
Guests are welcome
at any of our meetings, although there is a charge of $10.00 for any non-member who would like to receive a continuing education certificate. If you wish to attend, please contact our
President, Nancy Stevens at (336) 202-4432.
The

Browns Summit, NC
From the South and West of Greensboro
- Approach Greensboro from the west on I-40
- Merge onto US 29 North via Exit 39 and proceed 9.9
miles toward Reidsville
- Take the Reedy Fork Parkway exit toward Summit Avenue
for .2 miles
- Turn left onto Reedy Fork Parkway for .2 miles
- Turn left onto Summit Avenue
- Proceed .6 miles and turn left at 5900 Summit Avenue
(Gateway University Park)
- Park in parking lot and come in main building
From South and East of Greensboro
- Approach Greensboro from the east on I-40 and I-85
- Follow I-40 toward Greensboro via Exit 131 (as I-85
veers left toward Charlotte)
- Proceed 3.3 miles on I-40 and take Exit 41
- Proceed .2 miles toward East Lee Street/ NC 6
- Keep right at the fork and proceed 1.9 miles on East
Lee Street toward US 29 north
- Turn right onto Hackett Street and go .1 miles
- Go less than .1 miles and turn left onto Gorrell
Street
- Merge right onto US 29 north toward Reidsville for 8.2
miles
- Take the Reedy Fork Parkway exit toward Summit Avenue
for .2 miles
- Turn left onto Reedy Fork Parkway for .2 mi.
- Turn left onto Summit Avenue
- Proceed .6 miles and turn left at 5900 Summit Avenue

Greensboro on US 29
- From US 29 southbound north of Greensboro, take the
Summit Avenue Exit
- Proceed on Summit Avenue approximately .8 miles

The NCAPFM has two membership levels:
1. General, for individuals who are interested in or involved in family
mediation 2. Practitioner, for those who meet one of the following criteria:

Training and experience in which
member
has completed 40
hours of family mediation training approved by the Association
for Conflict Resolution or the North Carolina Dispute Resolution
Commission and has been practicing
in the conflict resolution field for a minimum of three years.

Current Custody and
Visitation mediator employed by the Administrative Office of the
Court;

Family Financial
Mediator certified through the North Carolina Dispute Resolution
